2025 Reflections and Our Outlook for 2026

Dear partners and friends,
As 2025 comes to a close, we want to take a few moments to reflect on the year we’ve had at Desu Systems and to share what we are focused on as we move into 2026, together with you.
This year marked 20 years since Desu was founded. That milestone gave us the chance to appreciate how far we have come while also sharpening our focus on where we want to go next.
Reshaping How We Work With You
In 2025, we introduced several structural changes across the company. These were not made for the sake of change, but to serve you better.
Desu is now built around four focused divisions:
- Flame & Gas Detection
- OGI & Methane Emission Monitoring
- Kitchen Fire & Hygiene Solutions
- Special Products
Each division is led by teams that understand the industries and environments you operate in. Whether it is a safety-critical production site or a high-risk mobile application, our goal is to deliver more relevant expertise and a smoother experience from first contact to long-term support.
Prioritising People and Personal Connection
One of the most important things to us is staying close to our clients. That means being available in person when it matters most. In 2026, we are increasing our travel capacity to ensure our teams can spend more time with you on site, no matter where you are.
We believe that the best solutions come from seeing things firsthand and working together to address real-world challenges.
We also welcomed several new colleagues this year: Yifat, Arend, Vivienne, Liza, Sven, and Jeffrey. Each of them brings energy, experience and a unique skill set that is already contributing to the quality of our work.
2025 was also the first year with Emile stepping into the role of Managing Director. Together, we are proud to lead Desu as a company built on trust, professionalism, and a deep commitment to the people we serve.
Progress Through Innovation
This year brought strong momentum on the innovation front.
- We launched the SharpEye 20/20Q flame detector, offering rapid and reliable detection even in complex industrial settings.
- We finalised early-stage development of the K-Star automatic degreasing system, a significant step forward in kitchen hygiene and fire safety. It is set to launch in mid-2026.
We also improved stock levels, expanded certifications, and streamlined support processes so we can respond faster and more precisely when you need us.
Our presence at LNGcon, StocExpo, Host Milano and the Fire Safety Event gave us a great opportunity to share these developments and also to listen closely to what matters most to clients in the field.
Looking Ahead to 2026
We are entering 2026 with clear priorities and a sense of forward momentum.
We are especially looking forward to participating in Intersec, the Fire Safety Event and Interschutz. These events are not just industry showcases for us. They are opportunities to meet with you face to face, to discuss challenges and opportunities, and to build stronger partnerships.
We believe in being transparent, especially when it comes to changes that affect your planning. Early next year, we will implement price adjustments on select product lines. This decision follows increased costs passed on by our suppliers – from raw materials to compliance and shipping.
We want to reassure you that we’re doing everything possible to limit the impact, and our priority remains delivering high-quality products with stability, transparency, and dependable service. We are doing our best to keep these changes manageable and to give you time to plan. Your account manager is ready to help with updated pricing, lead times and forward planning support for 2026 projects.
